Echo in the Wind (Donet Trilogy Book 2) By Regan Walker

Echo in the Wind (Donet Trilogy Book 2) By Regan Walker

Review :

My thoughts :  Year 1784
This novel was extremely enjoyable for me. As an author, Regan is impressively detailed. An aspect that stood out to me were the intricate descriptions of the food items throughout the novel. I felt as though I were there eating alongside the kings and queens !!

Another enjoyable facet for me was the illustration of the men and women’s attire.
Regan lays passages out in such a way that you felt as though you were  walking through The Hall of Mirrors in the palace of Versailles in the company with Queen Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI.

The novel closely follows the life of Joanna, daughter of The Earl of Torrington.
Throughout her adventures, destiny falls in her lap when she encounters the elusive Jean Donet Compte de Saintonge and falls madly in love.

If you are looking for a novel with rich history, vivid detail and captivating adventures, look no further. You won’t ever want to put this down.
